The bigger trout are starting to bite much better. The key to it is having the right conditions. Tide, wind, surface temperature and most importantly water temperatures play a huge factor. They seem to take artificial just as well as shrimp when you can find the right combination of those factors. Tight lines!

The trout have been on the flats and around the oysters. Small paddle tails seem to do the trick.

After hurricane Ian we had damge on many of our flats. The grass is showing promising growth and our fish population continues to grow. Catching a permit this time of year is very rewarding.
