I arrived at 8 am and Captain Matt Dandy did as well.  Matt has a serious but simultaneously easy and enthusiastic way that make him very easy to be around.  He knows what he’s doing, when and how.  I’m a little rusty in my salt water fishing skills, ‘cause I spend my summers on a beautiful freshwater lake in NJ.  Matt was both a good instructor and role model….especially with respect to free spooling unweighted live bait.  We hit sheep’s head on the rocks and rock walls, a couple redfish in the shallows, and a good number of snook free casting unweighted white bait fish.  We also encountered a very persistent dolphin that was looking for the fish we released, which most we did.  Matt was kind enough to clean and filet a few fish for me to take home in two days.  Matt caught couple of speckled sea trout…I was not so lucky.  It was a beautiful, beautiful day on the water. 

Highly recommend.  Matt is young, but real and fun and has a very promising future in his chosen profession.  .  He serves his clients well, thoughtfully and professionally.

We were a group of 4 with varying skill level, but little familiarity of fishing in Florida.
It was an incredible experience for us all!

Matt kept us baited the whole time and knew the local spots like the back of his hand. We got 11 fish to take home in total, but caught a bunch of others that we released too! Even an angry little puffer fish 🐡

Matt was patient, and passionate. It was awesome to see him starting his own business so young and have such professionalism, love that we were able to support a small local business. We will 100% be booking him again the next time we want to fish on the gulf coast.

Matt is a gentleman and a pleasure to fish with. We went out on the tail end of
a thunderous rain storm. The clouds cleared and the afternoon was sunny butvery windy. We caught bluefish, snook and jack crevalle. Matt worked very hard to find fish, and made sure we caught some. It was spotty but he managed to put us on fish and we has a great time. I highly recommend

Had 2 days with the captain, each was different style and location , as we had requested. Day 1 was in the Bay area, for trout sheepshead snook etcand we did have really good weather, and the fishing was productive. Boat was very stable and captain was very attentive to our requests and needs .

Day 2 was off shore to start on reefs, which was a little slow , but the fish were there.
We finished the day in shore and the productivity increased.
All in all we had a productive time using both fly and spinning gear.
