Had 2 days with the captain, each was different style and location , as we had requested. Day 1 was in the Bay area, for trout sheepshead snook etcand we did have really good weather, and the fishing was productive. First fish caught on the first cast which set the tone for a delightful four hours in the Gulf. We had two somewhat experienced fishermen and one 13 year old novice and all caught enough fish for a great meal that evening. Capt. Matt extremely helpful and pleasant. We couldn’t have made a better choice and plan to go again next year with Matt Dandy.

Capt Matt took myself my nephew and his son who is in 4th grade for a half day trip.  He immediately put us on fish.  We were catching Cobia, mackerel and various others.  Gunnar, the 4th grader had a great time, caught the most fish for the day and also hooked a BIG Cobia that we unfortunately couldn’t get into the boat.  Overall, a great day, we have plenty of professionally cleaned mackerel for more than a few dinners!  Thanks again Matt!  We look forward to the next time we can fish... We had 3 generations with my dad, my son and I out on Sarasota Bay with Capt Matt, today. We caught around 30 fish and brought home 16 for dinner tonight!! Capt Matt was extremely polite and patient with us as we are mostly bass fisherman and are still learning the nuances of saltwater fishing. Our group had a blast with Captain Matt. Caught plenty of Speckled Trout, Jacks, Redfish, and Snook. Matt was extremely attentive and helpful. He even jumped in the water to help our group attempt to land a large Snook. He was extremely professional and personable. When we return to Sarasota/Siesta Key, we will definitely be booking with Matt again. The highlight of our trip, hands down.
