We had a great day fishing with Capt Steve.

Thoughout our 6hr charter day, he consistently put us on fish!  Doesn’t mean we caught a fish every time we had a bite, but that was because of us, not him!:)

We either had constant hits, or he moved us.  THAT IS WHAT A CAPTAIN IS SUPPOSED TO DO, PUT YOU ON THE FISH, RIGHT!? And that is what he did!

Captain Steve was also there rebaiting our hook each time we turned around!  He was VERY ATTENTIVE!

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him and his charter service!!

Had a great time with the Captain, stated out bottom fishing and catching a lot of eater fish and letting most of them go to get bigger.  Kept enough for a meal, then happened to come across some fish feeding at the surface so we motored over to check it out and spent the rest of the day chasing bonito.  They were a ton of fun on the lighter tackle and we all had a great time and came home with enough fish for a meal, which is all we wanted.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with this fishing charter from start to finish! The captain was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He took the time to explain everything, from the equipment to the local fishing spots, and made sure everyone on board felt comfortable and confident.

The boat was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with top-quality gear. Within no time, we were reeling in fish and having an amazing time. The captain knew exactly where to go, and his expertise really paid off — it was one of the most successful and exciting fishing trips we’ve ever had!

What really stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine effort to make sure we had fun. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-timer, this charter delivers an unforgettable experience. We left with great memories, great photos, and plenty of fish to take home.

“My Girls Adventures” with Captain Stephen Drenth went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic fishing charter.
He was busy from start to finish, with nonstop, hook, baiting, hustling to make sure we didn’t have any downtime. he drove us around to multiple locations to make sure we were catching fish the whole time. (even when we were catching fish, he move us around to catch a variety of fish, which was on my husband’s wish list.) he checked all the boxes!
Stephen was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with our large group. We were so impressed we booked another trip for two days later!
As a person who checks a lot of reviews, before buying – I do my homework. (You can save yourself a lot of time and just book your trip with this great captain!)
He was less concerned with making money from this charter trip then giving us a good and successful experience – encouraging us to switch dates so that the weather would be more favorable.

I live in Colorado and was headed to Tampa to visit friends. I wanted to do some fishing in the Gulf. Capt Steve listened to our requests and set up an awesome day. He has us on a bite all trip. He had plenty of hot spots to move us to if things started to slow. We booked a 3/4 day and it was perfect. My son hooked a gag grouper that was over 20”. by the end of the trip we were satisfied and with a full bag. He cleaned them and even offered up a local restaurant that would cook our catch if we wanted. Excellent trip, and if I am back in Tampa and looking to fish. I will be calling Steve first to check availability.
