I began fishing with my father in 1972 – and have been 'hooked' since (pardon the pun). After spending several years fishing with my older brother in the Keys and East Coast of Florida – I entered the diving industry and worked as a Divemaster on boats in Bradenton and Sarasota – developing proficiency in spearfishing and teaching others.
My career choices have made it possible for clients and work associates to depend on me to take them fishing – and catching. My love for fishing has given me the passion for fine-tuning my skills into a full-time business.
Since my daughters entered my life (yes – My Girls!) - we have caught fish (and made memories) throughout Tampa Bay, Offshore, and the entire West Coast of Florida.
So my career started ..... a long time ago!

Half Day Trip • 5 adults • 3 childrenWe had a blast fishing with Captain Steve. Coming from Colorado, this was a new type of fishing for us. He was very patient and engaging with our 3 kids. ( 7, 9 and 12). The boat was very safe and clean. Our ride out to the bay we saw alot of sea birds and a couple of dolpins. We caught a variety of fish and stop in various locations. Captain Steve was knowledgeable of the area and not pushy. He was very helpful making sure we had bait and unhooking the fish. It was nice having help with our 2 young girls, which gave us time to enjoy fishing ourselves. We wished we had time on this trip to book another trip! Definitely, recommend Captain Steve especially if you have small anglers or those new to fishing. Thank you again, Captain Steve.

Half Day Trip • 3 adultsCaptain Stephen made the trip relaxing. He was easy to talk to and great at explaining things. You can tell that to him you aren’t just another paying customer, and that he loves and enjoys doing this! Which is huge. He took us out to a spot and my boys and myself were catching fish right away; and after things slowed down offshore he took us to do some inshore fishing by a dock, and right away we were pulling fish in!!! I would highly recommend him, and will definitely use him again when we come back!!

Half Day Trip • 4 adultsCapt’n Steve is one of the best, with tons of patience for youngsters or those with less fishing experience. Very friendly and accommodating. He even adjusted his schedule as we were two hours late due to rental car problems. I didn’t ask him to he just did it. And we caught plenty of fish too!

As the tourist season winds down, the fishing season is just getting better and better. Big King Mackerel arrive close to the beaches during their fall migration. People from far and wide come to catch a 'smoker.'

February - snapper, snapper and more sna

Last year snapper was the target for most of February - and this year is producing even better results. The cold front (with winds and higher seas) have made it challenging to get offshore - but when we do - the results are great. Lane snapper is back in season and producing much larger fish this year and the mangrove snapper have been everywhere. New for 2025 is our federal permits allowing us to get offshore (12 - 30 miles) and really getting into some memorable fish - specifically keeper hogfish, lane snapper and red grouper. Inside of 12 miles has also been producing - with snapper, big white grunts and flounder (yes flounder, lol). Cobia has been spotty across the board - and water temps have been keeping the kingfish to the south. Book today - if we can't make it offshore we can change to nearshore (and adjust price of charter for nearshore) - and catch some fish!

Snapper, hogfish and gags .... Winter Wo

The offshore action is in full swing with snapper, hogfish and gags (release - proper descending gear used at all times). The 3/4 day offshore trips have been providing plenty of opportunity to fill the icebox with some memorable catches! January looks to be full of action between cold fronts and February looks to be calmer than January (less cold fronts - better seas). White bait has been the spark to get the snapper active while shrimp continues to attract the big hogfish! Grouper crash the party when you least expect it - and makes for great memories!

Hogfish making a splash in December!!

Ledges have been producing some nice snapper catches - and the hogfish bite has been steady. Getting offshore between fronts has been producing some impressive catches of hogfish, snapper, porgies (along with some big grouper - still out of season) and big redfish creating some excitement! Goliath catches are a nice distraction when you catch your limit!
