Background: I grew up fishing the Florida keys for over 40 years. Fishing is second nature to me. What I enjoy most is watching people catch big trophy fish. I love fishing so much I even go on my days off.
Techniques: Definitely my favorite type of fishing is going for big sharks. Its a guarantee!! Drop anchor put out 4 or 5 big baits out and wait for the drag to start screaming. Also in the summer time I enjoy snorkeling the reefs spearfishing hog fish, grouper, snapper and looking for lobster. Tarpon fishing right at dark is also super fun with live bait.

Last week, I ran at least 8 or more 3hr inshore shark trips. The shark fishing has been unbelievable. Every trip we caught and released sharks up to 200+lbs.

The 3-hour shark trips have been very productive! Every trip, we are releasing 4 to 8 sharks per trip. It's been non-stop action. If you want to catch a trophy shark, book a trip. I guarantee you will catch!!

Summertime shark fishing is the best. We caught 6 sharks this morning on a 3hr trip and 1 Goliath grouper. Yesterday we released at least 12. Mostly all lemon and black tips.

Hammerhead shark

The shark fishing has been on fire the last few trips. Big lemon sharks, black tips, bulls and this 10ft Hammerhead we released just yesterday. A few big tarpon and Goliath grouper in the mix as well. Time to book a trip. Let's go fishing!!

This was our first day of Vacation. My wife and two friends wanted to catch fish for the next for dinner the few days. Our first spot was a little slow so Captain Dan moved us out to some deeper water. We started chumming and the fish were popping the lines. We fished there for an hour before the waves picked up. Captain Dan provided an unforgettable fishing experience for our family! In addition to catching SO many more fish than we could possibly eat (released most), each of our children caught and reeled in 4-5 ft. Lemon and Blacktip sharks! Captain Dan is great with kids, keeps a well kept boat, and sent us off with beautifully filleted fish over to Hurricane Hole which prepared our catch for an amazing meal. This fishing trip was the highlight of our vacation! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Great trip, saw and hooked a 14 ft hammerhead and a grouper that looked about the size of a VW beetle. Both got away but was an amazing scene/fight. We pulled in a few groupers and a nurse shark. Cpt Daniel was great and took us right where we needed to be for an unforgettable time! All in a 4 hour inshore trip!

We booked a charter to just catch something for dinner. We had a calm day and Captain Dan took out and found the fish. We all 4 caught plenty of fish and pulled in some big fish.
