The warm Key West waters offer the perfect tropical backdrop for a fantastic day outdoors. No wonder it’s one of the world’s most iconic fishing destinations!
Capt. Dan is here to get you on some fish and ensure you have the time of your life doing it. You’ll be using techniques like light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, and spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 4 to 6-hour trips, you will target Tarpon and Shark, with Snapper, Grouper, and other species as a bonus.
You’ll be fishing from a 22’ Lake and Bay boat with enough room for up to 4 anglers at once. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. For your convenience, your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day, and you’ll be able to keep any species that you can have for dinner.

Best day of our trip so far!

My wife, 2 kids and I have never been fishing before but Daniel was brilliant with us. He took us to a stunning spot and talked us through everything we needed to know. We caught a 5ft shark on the first cast and proceeded to catch at least another 10 big shark! We all caught, handled and released shark and got some amazing photos. So glad we booked and will definitely book again if we ever come back to the Keys. We live in London so a good 10 hour flight and 3 hour drive to the keys, but my son is already insisting we have to come back for his birthday 😂

Unbelievable 2 evening shark fishing

Captain Dan is the MAN!!! We wanted to catch big fish and he did not disappoint hooking up to our first shark before we knew it. Felt like we were on a family boat with all the help/ advice we got and the connection we made. Highly recommend to anyone looking to catch big fish and have an unforgettable experience, the fishing was so good we had to book the next evening with captain Dan aswell to get hooked back up!
100% recommend, too bad it was our last night in key west or we would be going back out tomorrow. I’ll be coming back next year just for the fishing with Dan

Captain Dan is an outstanding charter captain who truly knows water. He was professional, patient, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having a great time. Althought the weather did not fully cooperate his knowledge of the water and attention to detail really set him apart. He was able to get us on a HUGE Lemon shark. Highly recommend booking with Captain Dan for an unforgettable fishing experience! Will 100% be booking again!

booked this as a surprise for my family (hubby, teen daughter and son). within 5 min of casting line caught our first shark with more
catches to follow and several that got away. everyone in our group caught at least one shark. per the teenagers this was the highlight if the trip and a definite if we come back. the Capt was very knowledgeable and helpful and delivered exacltly what i hoped for. thank you foe the highlight of our trip!!

4hr something for dinner on April 11, 2025 • 4 adults
This was our first day of Vacation. My wife and two friends wanted to catch fish for the next for dinner the few days. Our first spot was a little slow so Captain Dan moved us out to some deeper water. We started chumming and the fish were popping the lines. We fished there for an hour before the waves picked up. We moved to get out of the wind and waves and anchored up for the remainder of our day. Caught plenty of Snapper and one small Hammer head shark which was a bonus.
Captain Dan has specific waypoints marked so there is no wasted time trying to find the fish.
We will book again with Captain Dan. Tight lines. 🎣
