In his experience, a smaller boat and limited group size allow for more attentive service and more fish in the boat at the end of the day. Join their small father/son guided fishing operation on the famed Kenai River and make memories for a lifetime.
Techniques
Fly Fishing is my preferred method of fishing with sustainable catch and release tactics exercised almost exclusively. If harvesting salmon then I will almost always go to my trusted spinning or trolling gear to make the job quick and easy.

With the coming of Fall on the Kenai the big Bows and Dollies come out to play! Sockeye are spawning heavily now and the bead bite has turned on. Lot's of rainbow and dollie action as we start to wind down our season at the end of the month. An occasional Coho finds its way into the net as well so book today!

Some beautiful days on the water. This trip is a beautiful walk and wade targeting dollies, pink salmon and coho salmon. We caught one of the first of the season with more coming into this tidal affected river daily. More pinks are expected soon which are great fun for the kids and the whole family.

With the lack of salmon from our first run sockeye on the Russian these trout and dollie are hangry to say the least. Fun fishing for big trout on dry flies is the name of the game here. With sunny and warm days recently the caddis and mayfly as well as midge hatches are on all over the river. If you live dry fly and wade fishing the Russian is the place to be right now.

The pinks and Coho are just beginning to shop up on the Anchor and the dollies are staging up to feast on eggs soon. Fishing dries, beads, wooly buggers and fry patterns have all been productive. Weather has been beautiful and the water is not blown out so perfect for dolly fishing.

Having some great salmon and trout days. With the salmon fishing picking the trout are also following them into to river system. Lot's of both species landed in the last week. It should be exceptional as more salmon move up towards Cooper Landing in the next week or so.
