In his experience, a smaller boat and limited group size allow for more attentive service and more fish in the boat at the end of the day. Join their small father/son guided fishing operation on the famed Kenai River and make memories for a lifetime.
Techniques
Fly Fishing is my preferred method of fishing with sustainable catch and release tactics exercised almost exclusively. If harvesting salmon then I will almost always go to my trusted spinning or trolling gear to make the job quick and easy.

The second run Kenai ruver sockeye have hit the lower river and the catching has been great out of Soldotna. In about a week to 10 days it will be on fire on the upper river as well and the salmon/trout combo trips would be a great choice for veteran or beginner fly fishers who want to get out on the water for the day. Weather has been warm and sunny and the fishing has been excellent!

The weather has been absolutely stunning and we are continuing to catch trout on the Kenai exclusively with Dry Flies. Also salmon are starting to pour into the river system which is a welcome change. It's been great to target those as well. If salmon and trout fishing are your thing join us for a full day trout/salmon combo on the pristine turquoise waters of the Kenai River!

With this great weather we've been having the dry fly fishing for rainbow trout has been fantastic. Lot's of large and small trout keeps the day moving without a break in the action. Bears, Moose, Eagles and this beautiful river will keep you amazed from the first minute you step onto the trail. This is the total Alaskan fishing experience!

The Sockeye fishing at the Russian River and Kenai River confluence has been excellent with limits daily. On our off days we fish this pristine river for Sockeye for the freezer. This is one of the best years we've had for these first run sockeye salmon in years! Come join us in July on the mainstem Kenai for the second run which should be gang busters!
