I’ve chartered a lot of fishing services in the past and Afishionado ranks up at the top. In addition to having a well-maintained boat, all the fishing tackle and gear was ready-to-go and in excellent condition. There was also plenty of live bait on board to provide the best opportunity to catch fish. On top of that, Wade is highly knowledgeable about the area and where the fish are located. And if for some reason the fish stop hitting in one area, he is quick to suggest other options to provide the most action and the best value. Wade is also great with kids and is skilled at teaching the basics to ensure a good time is had by all. I highly recommend Afishionado Guide Services and Wade Osborne for a truly memorable fishing excursion.

We had the best morning with Captain Wade. My daughters love to fish and doing a private charter was one of their vacation requests. I am so glad we landed on Wade. We had a memorable morning and we hope to cross paths with him again.

Most importantly, Captain Wade is detail-oriented and we immediately felt taken care of in his clean boat with his straight-forward and important safety rules. Just as importantly, he taught us HOW to effectively fish. He didn’t fish for any of us - including my daughter who reeled in a Bonnet Shark! He gave all instructions and was incredibly supportive.

Our trip with Captain Wade wasn’t just some morning on the water. It was a learning experience and it was successful! In addition to that shark, we caught snapper and snook. We recommend anyone - especially families - work with Wade. He was funny, friendly, and super fishing-savvy (have to say I envy his work!). Have a great time with him and enjoy all those catches!

Five of us chartered a 6-hour trip with Wade Osborne on his 24-foot Sheaffer the end of February.  We had a great day on the water, and caught fish at almost all of the spots he took us.  Wade met us at the Grandy boat ramp at 7:30 AM, after having already been out to catch bait.  Wade worked his butt off keeping us baited and our lines in the water, and we caught snook, redfish, and several sea trout.  It wasn’t a day where we were pulling fish out of the water constantly, but we caught fish, saw dolphins, got up close to lots of bird life, and generally had a great trip.  Wade has been guiding for over 20 years and his experience shows.  We had a great trip, and recommend Wade and his boat for up to 6 people who are looking for a quality fishing experience and enjoyable day on the water.

Unfortunately, this fishing charter left a lot to be desired. While we did catch fish, the overall experience was frustrating. The captain was overly focused on micromanaging every aspect of the trip, talking non-stop and using foul language, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. He seemed more interested in getting the perfect photo than helping us enjoy the fishing itself.

Instead of focusing on our experience, he often acted like the “boat police,” yelling at other captains he felt were violating laws. To make things worse, his power poles weren’t working, so we spent excessive time on manual anchoring and repositioning instead of fishing. Overall, we lost valuable time and interest due to his behavior, and the experience felt inadequate. I would not recommend this charter if you’re looking for a relaxing and focused fishing trip.

We had great time. The communication from the captain Wade, before the trip was very timely. We started catching fish from the very first cast. After a while he took us to another spot and we caught even more fish there. We caught a few keepers; Sea trout and sheepshead and he suggested a restaurant that cooked the fish for us. Overall a five star experience.
