My two kids (9 & 7) had a great experience with Captain Cole. He was very patient with the kids and worked really hard to try to help us catch some fish. We were successful at the end of the trip because of Cole’s persistence and really deep knowledge of the waterways, types of fish, bait, etc…but it would have been a worthwhile experience even if we didn’t catch any. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful afternoon fishing with Captain Cole. He got us on fish right away. After we caught a few in the shallow grass areas, we went to deeper water to look for bigger fish. We had multiple hook ups on big fish. The largest was a 25 inch redfish with a Goliath grouper as a bonus! We are glad we chose Old Salt Charters. When we are in the area again we will be sure to look up Cole again.

Captain Cole was on point from the start to the end very knowledgeable and explained every thing and what to expect when we hooked up. My friends who had never fished in the ocean and i were amazed at the power of the reds we hooked. We will definitely be booking another trip with Old Salt Charters with Captain Cole the next time we’re in town. I give it a 10 out 10..Thank you Captain Cole

What away to spend an afternoon! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Cole ( it was like catching up with a buddy) and some tips and tricks to fishing in Florida. We took our daughters out and Cole was more than fantastic to us all, even when our daughter was telling him how to run his boat and set a hook. We will be definitely book Cole again when we are this way! 5 stars.

We caught every species St Augustine had to offer!  He took us around like he was fishing for himself and wanted to catch fish. It the fish stop running, we started running to another place!  We even seen a huge tarpon. My only compliant is I wished we would have went longer and maybe hit the beach to fish.  Thank you Cole for making our 50th anniversary a even special occasion!! ❤️❤️?
