New Smyrna Beach, United States
- Background
- New Smyrna Beach native, grew up on the Intracoastal waterway learning to fish for Trout, Redfish, and Snook. I got my first boat at the age of 14 where I expanded my knowledge of the backwaters of Edgewater through Oak Hill and the flats of Mosquito Lagoon. As I got older I was able to get bigger boats which lead me offshore where the broader variety of larger fish made me want to primarily spend my time off the coast outside of Ponce Inlet.
- Techniques
- Bottom fishing mid to heavy tackle over manmade and natural reefs and wrecks. When the season permits, early morning trolling is a great way to start the day before settling over a patch of reef for a few hours bottom fishing.
