The four of us spent a wonderful afternoon on the lake fishing, learning about the area and talking to the captain.  We heard about the history of the Lake Taupo and its fish, and the region in general.  WE had a great trout dinner to top the day off.

We are a group of 6 but 4 of us were fishing. The trip started on time with the introduction and safety messages. We were shown how to release the rigg into the water and explained how the system works. We caught enough to bring home and released a few. The captain took good care of us till we returned to the berth.

It is the first time we go fishing. The Captain is great and tells us a lot of knowledge of fishing. We caught fish, and 12-year-old boy just wanted more time!

Great boat, great captain and plenty of fish. The only downside was the wife out fishing me.

We booked a 3 hour trip and landed 5 takeable fish in that time. The captain was knowledgeable and personable and kept us well informed. The weather was questionable but the boat was warm and comfortable Had the best time - highly recommended
