Captain Harvey was great! The weather was not the best, but he got us on the fish and made a cold windy day worth being out. All four of us caught a lot of fish, I stopped counting around 50 sea bass. We were able to catch 7 different species. My boys loved it and Captain Harvey was great with them. He has a ton of knowledge and experience when it comes to salt water fishing. Definitely will be using him again if we get back to the area. Thanks for a great day, Captain Harvey!

Capt. Harvey was awesome. He put us on the fish at the first drop of the line. We caught so many fish we couldn’t keep track. Capt. Harvey gave us some good information about the waters we were fishing and we had good conversations outside of fishing. Great trip would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to get back at it. Capt Harvey knows all of the spots in the area. he is very knowledgeable and works diligently to get anglers to catch fish. we caught lots of fish, despite unfavorable conditions that were out of the Captains hands. We had an absolutely fantastic time on this fishing charter with our 6 and 9-year-old kids! From the moment we got on board, the captain made the experience easy, fun, and stress-free—especially for us as parents bringing little ones.

He was incredibly patient and hands-on with the kids, helping them bait the hooks, cast their lines, and release the fish. Our daughter was thrilled to catch a flounder, and there were plenty of fish biting for everyone. He took us to a great spot where the action was steady, which kept the kids engaged the whole time.

We parents even got to fish and enjoy the trip ourselves, which isn’t always the case with young kids in tow! It was the perfect balance of learning, excitement, and fun for the whole family.

Talk about an adventure and a fish story that doesn’t need any embellishments, because that is what we got with Captain Harvey. Our trip started with two older teens joking that the 12 yr old had to wear a life jacket due to boating laws, but the youngest took it with grace and carried on.  We went out to catch whatever was biting and teaching the older boys how not to just feed the fish but to actually hook them and catch the fish. About 30 minutes into fishing the youngest hooked a massive fish. After about an hour of fighting,  we discovered he hooked an estimated 6.5 foot 250 lbs nurse shark on tackle that was on 15 lb fishing line. Come to find out that all of the biggest fish Captain Harvey caught was by 12 year olds wearing that life jacket. Now the older boys want to go back out and wear that life jacket. If given the requirement or opportunity to wear the Lucky life jacket,  I would recommend wearing it!
