Hi, I'm Captain Harvey Wall, owner of Salty Dawg Fishing Charters. With 26 years of guiding experience in North Carolina—and as a proud U.S. Army veteran—my goal is simple: keep you safe, help you catch the fish you're after, and make your day unforgettable.

I'm based in Ocean Isle Beach, with easy access to Sunset Beach, Holden Beach, Calabash, and Little River.

Whether it's your first charter or your hundredth, I'll tailor the trip to your pace and style so you have a blast.

Trips I Offer:

— Kids Fishing Charters (2 hours)
For kids ages 12 and under. We fish calm water for easy-to-catch species to keep your kids engaged and having fun. Everyone fishes!

— Inshore Fishing Charters (4 hours)
Fish calm backwaters for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead.

— Nearshore Fishing Charters (4 or 6 hours)
Fish 1–10+ miles offshore around reefs & wrecks for Mackerel, Cobia, Sea Bass, Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, and more. Trolling and/or bottom fishing.

— Shark Fishing Charters (4, 6, or 8 hours)
Fish 1–10+ miles off the beach to target sharks like Hammerheads, Tiger Sharks, and more (most 20–80+ lbs). Safe, fun for all ages.

— Captain's Choice Fishing Charters (4 hours)
Perfect if you're unsure of which trip to choose. On this trip I will pick everything for you based on conditions and where I think we will catch the most fish.

— Bull Redfish Fishing Charters (4 or 6 hours)
Seasonal trip for trophy redfish. This trip puts you on the hunt for a once in a lifetime redfish of 35 to 45 inches with an honest chance at a 50 incher!
