We booked this excursion as a spur of the moment thought and couldn’t have been happier or more pleased with Captain Jane from Salty Soul Charters. Her energy/smile/and knowledge of Key West made our day perfect. We booked a shallow/calm water fishing trip and after picking up live bait from her trap, we were catching snapper within 10 minutes. We actually became a little bored with catching so many and decided to be more patient and use the live bait and pull bigger ones in! And boy did we! My daughter caught a 8 foot lemon shark - which ended up snapping the line but it was fun to watch. I snagged a large barracuda and we eventually ended up with a couple yellow tail snappers - which Captain Jane fillet and we were able to immediately take to Hurricane Hole were we enjoyed our catch as blackened tacos. She offered to take us snorkeling, dolphin watching, walking on one of the keys, but we enjoyed the fishing so much we decided to only do that. I’d recommend her charter, as she is extremely flexible, knowledgable and accommodating to whatever you want to do.

We caught fish, too bad some were not keepers or we would have had one big haul. Nate was great ! Got us on fish and when it slowed down he moved to catch more. Would love to fish again with Nate, or Jane. Hopefully again soon. Thanks for the memories!!!!

Capt. Rachel and Capt. Jane are the best! Capt. Rachel was the bomb knowledgeable handles. The boat handles us. The fisherman Texas to the fish helps us enjoy our fishing trip don’t fish anywhere else.!!!

My family and I went fishing, and we all caught fish! Captain Jane was very knowledgeable and patient with my kids. We then went to the sandbar, snorkeled and looked for dolphins. It has been the highlight of our trip.
