Captain Justin was an absolute blessing as we were here in St.Augustine during Hurricane season however my 9yr old son had been begging me for the past year to go “real” fishing because he wanted to eat what he caught. Due to the weather predicting rain and rough seas at around 9-10ft, it was nearly impossible to find a Captain beave enough to go out. Captain Justin was not only brave enough to navigate the weather but miraculously put us on fish. My son caught a huge 26” Red Fish as well as Black Drum & Whiting! My son was the happiest I’ve ever seen and incredibly proud of himself. Captain Justin was amazingly patient, nice & execellent at showing 3 kids (13yrs & 12yrs & 9yrs old) how CATCH not just “Fish” & somehow kept us out of the rain which was all around us! We had an incredible day overall and made memories to last a lifetime! Thank you! When we return, Captain Justin will for sure be called for another fishing adventure.

Credit to Justin for the successful trip!  He was on time to start, took us to spots where we caught numerous fish, and helped everyone be successful!  We caught red snappers, a grouper, grunts, a large black drum that got away, and a couple we could keep for dinner!

Definitely worth the six hours out on the boat!

We took our three young kids (11,11,8) out fishing for their first time ever and Captain Justin was great with them. He was extremely patient with them throughout the day and always coached them on how to do things properly. He put us on the fish and was always cognizant on if we’d been sitting too long without a nibble. When the kids caught fish, he always made sure to help them with a nice picture. I could not have anticipated the day going any better and would recommend this charter to anyone.

Captain Justin went above and beyond. He made our family fishing trip one of the most enjoyabje experiences we have ever had. He was so knowledgeable and had my 13 and 19 year old sons reeling in sharks within the first 20 minutes. Which was amazing in itself but he didn’t stop there. He had us reeling in so many different species and even a stingray at one point. I can’t speak hugely enough of the hospitality we were shown. His down-to-earth demeanor and personality made us instantly comfortable and relaxed. We are planning to make Captain Justin and Everett’s Adventure a frequent break from our hectic schedules! Already planning next trip!

As an avid angler, I imagine the challenges children or inexperienced anglers can bring to a guide trip. I booked an 8 hour trip that really was split into two 4 hours. I had a couple of the older, early riser relatives, come in the morning. My wife and daughter replaced them at the dock at 11:30. The older crowd had never saltwater fished and one had never fished hardly in their life. All had PB’s in some fashion. My wife and daughter tag teamed a 15-20 lb Red Fish and my 9 year old daughter caught 14 fish herself. Justin has the experience and finesse to cater to all skill levels. Justin is professional, good vibes, and can flat out catch them. We’ve made it a tradition to coming to St. Augustine, and when I fish he’s my guy.
