- Background
- Avid fisherman from childhood. Growing up near lakes and rivers, I fished in the northeastern United States. I also had access to the New York and New Jersey coastline, where I often went on head boats. I have fished all over the US, and everywhere in the world I have been, which at this time of writing is too many places to count. I love the challenge of fishing and enjoy the conversations and memories created when on a charter.
- Techniques
- We use a wide variety of methods and styles, truly dependent on the target species and the conditions. We will often be found trolling near shore, offshore, reef, wrecks either using dead or live bait. We use technologies such as kites, outriggers and downriggers. We may use our electric rods and reels to deep drop. Sometimes we can be found anchored up inshore, nearshore, reef or on a wreck where we will use techniques such as freelining or bottom fishing.
