    Hands down a 5-star day on the water with Captain Tyler! As a family of beginners, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Captain Tyler was the definition of professionalism—patient, safety-minded, and top-tier when it came to keeping everyone engaged. He had us hooked from the start, putting us right on the bite and teaching the kids how to work the rods like pros. Captain Tyler made sure our coolers were packed for an unbelievable family fish fry, complete with his own pro cooking tips to make sure we did the catch justice in the kitchen. On top of that, he gave us the insider scoop on the best local shops for bait, gear, and tackle to use for the rest of our trip. If you want a masterclass in angling and a memorable family outing, book with Captain Tyler!

    We had an absolutely wonderful time! Our 6-year-old and 10-year-old enjoyed every minute of the fishing trip. They had so much fun that they haven’t stopped talking about it and keep telling everyone how amazing their experience was! Seeing their excitement made the trip even more special for us. It was a fantastic family adventure and a memory they’ll cherish for a long time. Highly recommend it to families with kids!

    Great Captain and Fishing Trip

    Great Captain and Fishing Trip. I've been enjoying salt water fishing for over 3 decades, and Tyler is by far one of the greatest Captains. Great guy to be around, shows and knows every square inch of the fishing area, and obviously one of the most honest and nicest people you could ever know in this life to be just around. I would highly recommend, and I'm already planning out on the calendar my next upcoming trip with Tyler.

    Excellent first fishing boat trip my Boy!

    Exceeded all expectations! My six year old son loved his 2 hour fishing experience with Captain T. The whole crew was so nice and he kept catching fish the entire time. My father in law caught a stingray and my son caught flounder…he snagged a few that were cleaned and brought back to our homestead and gently released the protected species. The Captain was very knowledgeable and showed our guy everything and was very patient with him. Thank you all for creating a memorable experience for life!

    I purchased this trip for my husband’s 40th birthday and so glad I did. He said the Captain put them right on the fish early on, and that the day was not only successful, but a great time and great fellowship with his friends! Communication with Captain Tyler was prompt and efficient from the get go. He even called the day before to sort out any questions or expectations for the trip. 10/10 would recommend Carolina Traditions Fishing Charter with Captain Tyler! Thank you!

    Our captain was Tyler and from the beginning he was easy to communicate with and so kind and helpful is I could give more than 5 stars I would!! We all caught a lot of good sized fish and can’t wait to make tacos for lunch!! Yummy!!! I would do it ten times over!!
