Carolina Traditions Fishing Charters runs fishing trips out of Holden Beach and offers to take you on an excellent inshore or nearshore fishing adventures.
Capt. Tyler prides himself on going the extra mile to ensure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, and trolling to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for King Mackerel, Cobia, Seabass, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Flounder, depending on the season.
Your adventure begins on board a 24' Pathfinder boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers. The boat is equipped with an ice box. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you will need for a productive day on the water.
As for fishing licenses, the captain will take care of everything, so you don't have to worry about it. You can keep anything you catch as long as it's legal. Want to bring the rest of the family along for the ride? Kids are welcome aboard, so you can make it a family friendly adventure!

Had our limit of flounder within the first 30 min and landed half a dozen big Spanish mackeral as well. Captain was fun to talk witg and went the extra mile prepping our fillets and making sure we got our fish home cold. Hope we can come back next year - will definitely rebook with Tyler!!

2 HR Kids Trip on July 7, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 childtook my wife and 12yr old son on the 2hr trip and just like Captain Tyler said its meant to keep the kids busy and it did! caught several different species with black drum being our best but overall we had a great time and will be back for the 4hr trip next time. highly recommend

Exceeded all expectations! My six year old son loved his 2 hour fishing experience with Captain T. The whole crew was so nice and he kept catching fish the entire time. My father in law caught a stingray and my son caught flounder…he snagged a few that were cleaned and brought back to our homestead and gently released the protected species. The Captain was very knowledgeable and showed our guy everything and was very patient with him. Thank you all for creating a memorable experience for life!
