- I've been fly fishing for almost 50 years. I've fished all over the USA for almost all species. I was employed by Orvis for five years in the fly shop in Sevierville, TN. I currently teach fly fishing classes for the US Fish and Wildlife Services. I started fly fishing at 16 and have not fished with anything else the entire time. I only use Orvis gear with a few Hardy fly reels. I've been a guide for almost three decades and I am a fully licensed guide.
- Techniques
- I'm a small stream expert. I've had the pleasure of fishing most every size stream, creek or river. l love to fish small rods (as little as 1wt) with small flies and small tippets. I'm not a float guide as I don't own a boat. I will provide Orvis gear for you to use, that way you'll be able to use the best gear.
