Captain Hoyte was a joy to spend the day with. His knowledge of not only fishing but local history of the area was outstanding! The excellent hospitality and the nonstop fish on the line made this charter above and beyond all others. I would 100% recommend that any angler looking for local flare, a great laugh, and nonstop fish on the hook book a trip with Captain Hoyte!

2 part review.  My brother and I brought our lifelong friend down for a private charter for his bachelor party.  I’m not much of an angler but I could fish with Capt Hoyte any day.  The man is a wealth of knowledge and skill he was the captain, first mate historian and a friend on this charter. The 3 of us couldn’t ask for a better memory and tally of fish.  We all caught countless breed and number of snapper on top of. Several other species my buddy capped it off with a 7’ lemon shark.. I’m over here hoping marriages don’t work out so we can go back.

We had an absolutely amazing day on the water with Captain Hoyt! From start to finish, everything about the trip was professional, fun, and downright unforgettable. The boat was clean and well-equipped, and Captain Hoyt knew exactly where to go to put us on the fish.

Not only was the fishing fantastic but Captain Hoyt was also incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a total beginner, you’ll feel right at home with him. He shared great tips, explained the gear, and made sure everyone had a chance to reel in a catch.

Capt. Hoyt was great!  He was very knowledgeable about everything we were doing, and took the time to explain everything to us - he was very talkative!  He catered the trip to exactly what we requested: many catches of some smaller fish (the bite was constant for snappers and grunts), as well as the excitement of landing two sharks. He was full service, taking every fish off the hook and baiting every hook when needed. We caught 10 total species, and everyone had a blast.  10/10, would recommend, and would definitely do again!

If you want a captain that listens to what you want, and gives it to you, this is the charter for you. His boat is VERY fishable, Captain Joe was very knowledgeable about everything the Florida Keys, and was just fun to fish with. I highly recommend him and will definitely be fishing with him next year on my annual trip to the Keys.

We spent a fabulous morning with Capt. Hoyt on the Keys Flatz.  Even though Hurricane Erin was churning her way up the Atlantic Coast, the seas off Summerland Key were just as calm as could be.  Capt. Hoyt took us to several Honey Holes where we boated various Snappers and grouper.  Hits on multiple barracuda.  Exciting morning.  The Capt. was knowledgeable and entertaining during the entire outing.  Will definitely return.  Thanks Capt.
