Fish On!
July 18, 2023

The water has finally warmed up to that magical high 40 degree range, touching 50 in the afternoon. Fish are active throughout the day with a smattering of bug hatches giving us a chance to catch some in the dry fly. Nymphing is the go to early in the day, switching to swung wets and dries as the day progresses. Looking forward to the Mckenzie Green Caddis showing up any day now. All in all its a beautiful time of year to see what the Mckenzie river offers. Cone join me!
