Today, we target spotted bass up against Rip Rap rock. The bass are in full spawn. The water temperature was 64 degrees. We used light 1/8oz shakey head jigs with a small 5 inch zoom straight tailed worm in watermelon seed. The current was moving fast and that 1/8oz jig allowed the bait to flow with the currnet without getting hung up. We added chartreuse to the tail. Adding chartreuse to your bait during the spawn definitely helps the bite.
