Half day fishing with a good friend

Had a great day in the water with Robert and Kate Sellers! We fished the mangroves and caught some snapper, redfish and a flounder. While moving out to Anna Maria Sound we ran into a whole bunch of Trout in the grass flats, with two keepers!

After waiting for the Clouds to move out and rain to stop it finally cleared up nicely and gave us a chance to put a few in the cooler

Fishing the flats with popping corks on a cool day for down here…but trout and snook are active

Bottom fishing with live shrimp produced a few nice fish today
