October is a fantastic month for numbers of bass on a small lake near Lake Fork. Plenty of action and some serious line stretching. Trips this month so far have been incredible!

Carl Halek traveled from Missouri with the specific goal to establish a new personal best in the bass fishing world. Lake Fork is renowned for it's giant bass, and although this wasn't the perfect time of the year for monsta's, Carl crushed his PB with a gorgeous eight pound one ounce lunker.
