With the recent passing of Hurricane Michael, red tide has been largely pulled out of out inland waters, thanks to wind direction and incredibly high tides. This is great news! Fishing had started to fire up just before this storm passed with tons of bait flooding the beaches and flats, birds returning, and FISH CHEWING. October and November are going to be great fishing months as the weather will start to cool down as cold fronts will start to roll in, the first one looking like being this weekend. Started the day running crab traps looking for triple-tail and it didn't take long to have our first one in the boat over 20"! Then we ran inshore and got onto a lot of "fun-sized" snook and a couple smaller redfish before checking an inshore wreck for gags only to hook into a nice cobia before heading in. Another great day on Tampa Bay!

Started the day catching gag grouper under the docks and then ended the day with some huge snook!!
