Amazing fishing in Cairns with Justin! We caught a mango snapper and took it to a local restaurant where they cooked it up for us!

Great boat, fishing gear and guide. Worried about Crocs getting in boat, no chance, nice high sides both in and out, to keep everyone safe and to ensure everyone enjoys their fishing. Estuaries are definitely quiet in the winter in August, however reef and topwater are good as always. If you were looking to fish the estuary, book for summer months in February and March, where you can legally keep the barramundi's while also hooking a good amount of them

Yes the best. Captain Jacob is there from the start to finish and knows the local fishing area from the back of his hand.

A captain who is friendly and gets you on the fish. We caught more than other boats. I had an amazing day. 10 fish in all 5 different species.

Be prepared for all types of weather and that any catch is a good catch. We went in May and this day was cloudy and the temp had dropped.
It was an estuary morning half day trip, I caught a Blue Salmon..other species caught on the trip were Trevally, Mangrove Jack and Grunter.
So although the dream was of a Barramundi...just remember to enjoy the thrill, the company and that each day brings a different catch!
