I believe 6hrs is better if you can stretch it as it would give you a greater chance of catching better fish.

Whilst we had a wonderful trip, it can get quite rough and rocky in the boat through the reef. This is why I would not recommend for children, or people who get sea sick.

I monitored the windy app in the lead up. If it had been any more windy and larger swell I may have cancelled, it was a windy few days but the wind's picked up on our return and were not too bad for the first 3 hrs.

We didn’t catch any big fish trawling but the bottom fishing made up for it.
We also caught a shark but it got away at the last minute as we tried to get it on the boat (we would have let it go anyway)

October was amazing fishing. The tuna were biting and we were driving through large schools for a couple of hours reeling them in. We caught 19 in all which we heard was a good day on the water. Weather couldn't be beat. High 80's and sunny. Wish we could do this more often.

Great team from pick up at the Hotel, we caught lots of fish and had a great day. Fish not guaranteed but try trawling and some deep reef fishing. Good Luck

If you are looking for big game fish, book the longer trip 6 or 8 hours. Our first mate told us there are bigger fleets taking the game fish closet to shore....so to get to the fish you need to go further out which requires the longer trip.

They tailor the trip to what you want. So if you have children on the trip then they can target smaller fish....if you want to go big, then they will cater for that also. Cant go wrong
