Bali Fishing Trips
We got two solid Mack Tuna trawling, we were a bit later than I would have liked, we didn't get out until about 7:30am, but the fish were still biting, if you can get out earlier that would be better.
Don't forget you sun cream and a wide brim hat

I would stay on the island so you can fish at first or last light. When it's much quieter and less boats on the water.

Yes, with an experiened Captain like Capt. Bajil, who knows the waters so well, knows the best spots, and handles the boat like the expert that he is, this is definitely ok for first timers. However, this is the open ocean, so be prepared for large waves and a LOT of choppy waters, especially on a windy day. The views, and the catch, is definitely worth it!

Hard for me to say great since we didn't get our target species, but I believe it was due to the conditions of the day. Captain BAJIL proved to me he knows what he is doing out here!

It worked out very well for us, as absolute beginners. 2 groupers, 1 trevally and one tuna in the course of 2,5 hours on task. We came here, hoping to catch our own lunch, and did exactly that.

Contact King of the sea. Be prepared to wind the fish in fast or risk loosing plenty on the reefy bottom. Expect to fish 40 to 80 metres of water. Don't ever let too much line out try to sit bait 1 metre off bottom when you're sinker has touched the reef...
