You can catch all types of tuna here up to 700 pounds. Since I was with my kids, we are really satisfied with a 40 pound albacore, but for more serious fisherman, this boat has experience bringing in massive tuna.

Recommend staying the night in Civitavecchia if doing the night fishing trip. Getting back to Rome after the trip is over can be a late night. We didn't get back to hotel until 3am. Simone did an excellent job!!!

They were on the lake for a little over 3 hours and caught one fish. Not sure if that was a result of the season or the time of day or just luck but my kids had a great time regardless thanks to the captain

Be prepared to wait, be patient. Fish & bait don't come to you. The captain has to search & use his extensive knowledge & experience to search for bait & fish. You need sun cream, the sun is strong. The views towards the coast are breath taking. If you catch something, you might need a knife to gut it & a bag to take it home. Ice packs can be bought at the local supermarket just above the marina.
