I checked box for children but they better like to fish . We booked 8 hr trip because wanted to catch sail fish. For the long run to fishing grounds. No less than 8 hr trip. 12 hrs if you can take fishing all day is what I will do next time. That would rule out kids

The waves are big out there so make sure you select the right size boat and don't have nausea issues in those conditions. It's really too rough for small kids. If you you have kids or nausea I would recommend an inshore type of trip or lagoon fishing. There are lots of options in Cancun so don't be afraid to book a fishing trip!
