get to the marina early an hour if possible because of Uber cancellations and the security at the marina and the distance from the gate to the boat and leave time to run a credit card over a phone. also take two Dramamine at least two hours before and plenty of sunblock.

A longer trip is necessary for the sportfishing because the time of the run out is more than an hour. Also, be careful of the wave conditions, even in a 40' vessel we still had a rough ride, and some of the party were seasick.

Make you you take non drowsy dramamine even if you don't think you'll get sick also don't forget to drink water and wear sun protection a hat and sunglasses!

Take even more precautions than we did to not get sea sick!! * We didn't drink the day before, took Dramamine the night before and the morning of and still got sick, unfortunately! Yet, the crew was amazing understanding!! I wish I knew their secrets to not get sick!!

It was a windy day, and as we expected, the water was choppy. No one in our group has problems with motion sickness, but this would not have been a trip to take if you did.
We were told that December was slower than other times of year, but we had plenty of action.

Go with the Cape Escape and have them arrange transportation to and from your hotel. It was top notch service.

I recommend the captain and his vessel!
We were 7 people
5 adults and 2 children and it was super peaceful and pleasant!
The microwave wasn't working and we couldn't heat the food for the children!
But that didn't affect the experience at all!
I recommend it once again...

The fishing was good even though it was off season. The Mates were very attentive and would be great for the experienced and first time fishermen as well.

Understand the season your in and what type of fish can be caught. You can’t catch all the fish that are targeted if it not the season for the fish but it’s still possible to get lucky. You will be doing a lot of trolling and trying different spots to catch the big fish.

If you plan an 8 hour trip in Cancun in July, be prepared to be hot. The inside cabin has ample couches to hide out of the sun and the stern has a sun shade which helps tremendously but it’s hot no matter what. 8 hours of patiently waiting for the fish to bite can be tiresome and so I would not recommend 8 hours if children plan to attend.

I would only say that i would have preferred trolling a bit longer in search of bill fish and mahi and tunas as was my goal catch
