Fresh Netherlands-Germany Border Region Fishing Reports

Today we were with my Hobie-kayaks on the small river called Krommerijn in Holland. My guest came from South Africa and wanted to learn fishing in Holland. And he was lucky or ..... a good angler. Anyway, he catched his first pike ever in 8 minutes under the bridge where we started. Most of the time it brings bad luck to catch the first fish so early. But not today on the 13th (!) of July. After this pike he catched a beautiful zander and... another pike and another zander and another pike. And half way our trrip we catched some small perches and gobles from shore just for the fun and because they were new species for my guest. So we had a great day and some very nice catches in beautiful surroundings.

This half day we went fishing in a canal nearby Wijk bij Duurstede in the centre of the Netherlands. My guests wanted to learn fishing on zander. We cathched this morning 4 zanders.

Last week I went fishing with two nice kids. We had a lot of fun nearby my house in a little town called Oudega in the province Friesland (Holland). We catched lot of roachs and the kids good not stop : ). The next day I went also fishing on pike with the boy.
