Although we only catched a few small fishes, but the captain & crew were helpful and of great helping and knowledge. Overall experience was great, and I had a great time with my boy.

I was told by the captain that the larger fish will tend to come into Singapore from Sep to Nov. There is a lot of marine traffic so the fishing area is relatively limited.

Bring sunblock, be kind to the guide and fish only what you need as Singapore is not a famous fishing ground. Go for kayak fishing fever to experience a whole new side of fishing! and to support the local young man and his passion!

You got to take a boat out and fish around structures or reefs. The areas around jetties are barren from overfishing and Singapore does not a recreational fishing body that ensures there are fish for recreational purpose. You can cram onto a boat with 10 other people or try kayak fishing (see Fever.sg for my review, highly recommend it).
