Most importantly, book with an experienced local captain who knows the area. The fishing was fantastic in August, and we caught a great variety of fish. It was an awesome experience for our whole family, including our kids!

Afternoon winds pick up so it was pretty choppy around Berkeley but the captain found us a calmer spot in the bay. Even as someone prone to seasickness I had no issues.
