Northwest Fishing Charters
If it’s your first time fishing in Edmonds, go with an experienced local captain who knows the water and the seasonal regulations. September was excellent for coho, and the action started almost immediately for us. Dress in layers because the early morning can be cold on the water, take seasickness medicine beforehand if you’re prone to it, and bring a cooler for your catch. Most importantly, listen to your captain and enjoy the experience.

Great bites on the afternoon trip, we were hitting pretty consistently with 5 of us on the boat getting bites almost at the same time.

due to state regulations and later in August fishing was slower than we wanted. We still got 2 keepers out of the trip though so we're satisfied!

Tengu Charters - Edmonds / Seattle
Absolutely, we are from Texas and have never fished for any really large fish like salmon. It’s a completely different experience and Captain Jeff was super patient and explained everything so well. I was fishing with my 6 year old and my 10 year old who (she had never been on a charter before), and we all had the best experience.

Was amazing. Caught our limit for 4 less one. We had several big ones that got away. Pink salmon are tough. Captain was amazing and knew where to find the fish.

Big King Salmon Charters
Parking next to the dock. Bottled Water is provided on the boat. Bring snacks and any drinks you may want. Bring binoculars to see porpoise and maybe a whale or orca. Bring your cooler for your catch to take home which the captain will fillet on the boat heading back to the dock.

First time here, this season looked like the King were leaving and the Coho coming in late July. Numbers at the locks for Kings were relatively low and Coho was all over the place. Really can’t go wrong but wanting to try to come back in a year with a lot of Pinks or August/September and try for some Coho.
