Kenai Coldwater Fishing
Go early morning. We went later and it seemed the fish had slowed down but that’s totally ok.
And know that if you book this trip this is NOT a fancy charter trip this is an outdoor out in the sun w a single captain. It might not be for everyone but it was PERFECT FOR us! They work really hard and are great people

Best Salmon Fishing near Anchorage
We sailed and fished with Captain Bub and Deckhand Peyton. They were both were extremely helpful and great to fish with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to fish in Seward.

Definitely go with Alaskan Adventures. I enjoyed the 6 pack boat more than the 13 angler group due to less tangling of lines, but both were the excellent

Fishing was great. Sea was a little rough, and we couldn't reach prime Halibut spots, but we caught a nice variety of fish as well as a few Halibut.

When I bought my fishing license online I did not see that non-residents could not catch King salmon after July 7. Wasted money getting that permit. Oh well

July is good for all fish but not particularly great for any. Think quantity not quality. Still good size fish compared to other areas of the pacific but wouldn’t consider it trophy season

our weather was fantastic, sunny and temperatures in low 70's no rain. Check weather reports and dress appropriately expect to catch fish but quantity will depend on a lot of factors that are out of the captains control.

Fishing always depends on … the fish! We did 2 days - first day was decent weather - but just so-so fishing. Second day was 54F, raining, with chop and 2 foot swell - and GREAT fishing! Enjoy the experience!
