Sundays 6 hour bass trip saw numerous fish over the slot size . 28-31 inches is a keeper . Smallest was 32 inches . Any day now the big 40 pounders will be showing up. The harbor is filled with bait .

2 folks from Europe looking to sample what Boston has to offer . They had a great trip . 5 star review, and they posted a video of us filling the boat with mackerel. The bass bite is definitely spotty, but with the amount of bait around, it's only a matter of time .

This kid out fished the adults. Only had a few flounder but he got all of them .while th adults caught skate . Now that the first wave of flounder are in . The bigger ones should be here on the next few sunny days. Unfortunately mother nature shows rain for the whole 7 day forecast. Hopeful with 4 trips coming up this the off shore breeze keeps the storms away.flounder are in!

Left the dock at 40 degrees. Clients dressed appropriately. Ocean was flat clam water tenp 40 degrees. Last year at this time, it was 52 degrees. We caught sculpin, which was fun but definitely not a target species. Clients were offered a striper trip in the summer at no charge . Even though we did catch fish, I want them to see our work class fishery in its prime . With the upcoming weather this weekend and the upcoming week doesn't look much better, I'm blocking off the calendar until Friday the 18th of April. All we need is a couple of warm days, and the Cod,haddock, and Flounder will be here!

8+ inches on most local ponds and lakes . Some rivers have frozen over . Sunday January 24th i fushed the Mystic river hoping for holdover striped bass . Unfortunately no luck but we did get some nice largemouth , perch and crappie.
