First timers, I would definitely recommend you research the captains and vessels before making a decision on who to book with while in Bradenton. I did and it led me to Capt. Louis. He's knowledgeable, friendly and will work with even the most novice of anglers to guarantee a memorable experience. But above all, have fun!

Captain Louis went out of his way to provide a high quality tailored fishing trip, he taught us how to fish and took us to several hot spots. My son caught so many fish he lost count. Smiles all around for the adventure. We all loved it. We would book with him in the future.

Just remember it is called fishing and not catching. We had caught a bunch of fish, just not the โmonsterโ the captain was after.

Make sure they have a contingency plan if the boat has issues. Make sure you have bug spray and sun protection. Make sure you have the proper fishing license and Florida wildlife book for information on size limits and creel limits.
