May 12, fishing ! The lake is d i r t y! Flood ing! Every day is different ! No boat launching and no electric! I am staying at another boat slip which has electric so I can clean fish and charge batteries! In co venient! 2 fish today! Really I know yiu didnt expect that from me, but oh fishing!

Since 1994, I have been a fishing guide on Lake Texoma! Always a fisherman, I use what works at the time and expects customers to use my methods which ever is working at the time’. I start at daylight, fish four hours maybe little longer if short limit, then return dock and clean fish while you relax. I filet the way that leave the best taste of the fish, in my opinion but if like it another way I will do that! I try my best to get every one limit, 10 fish each! Some days that do not bite, very unusual but it happens!

I am here to advise you that water temps here at Lake Texoma are about 10 degrees off, what is needed to perfect results. You can testify after you learn when its too late! Every Guide works their best, some get lucky, and some poorly! Its not the best times but real close. Warmer weather is needed, winds lighten, then you experience best results! Bait is hard get now, the primary Food of the striper! Plan your trip, not by when you can be here, plan on about two weeks, and game on! Storms dont help.
