Southern Alabama in the middle of August has always been a tough time for fish since you really have to know what the fish are wanting. We were blessed with a great guide that kept the fish on the line and the hearts pounding.

Captain Dave did a very good job putting us on sharks! His deckhand Dylan was very knowledgeable and their good luck charm Sushi stole the show. Book apex charters you will not be disappointed and you will have a very good time. We had two newbies and they loved it. He is the “Real Shark Whisperer”

APEX Shark Charters- Fort Morgan/Mobile Bay
Fort Morgan is a great location to go fishing from because you are closer to a lot of the wrecks and oil rigs, so more fishing time. I would recommend using NiCole Fishing Charters

Stormy weather approaching made the water quite rough. It was easy to get to our charter and it was a short boat drive to our fishing spot, but if you can plan ahead of time definitely consider water conditions. Overall, it was good.
