Check with the fishing charts to see whatโs biting. We were hoping for fish we could eat but had to settle for shark. It was still a blast because the shark fought hard. It took 10 minutes to pull one to the boat

Remember itโs fishing not catching. Some days are slow, but these guys make it a good time either way. But we caught several!!!!

Snappers cannot be taken, they are catch and release, This surprised me. I would recommend an all day trip or at least a 6 hr day so you can get out to the sportfish.

Fishing was good once we got on them. we kept Spanish Mackeral but also caught blue and black drum. It was too rough to venture near shore outside the harbor so we worked the channels and the bridges

The launch ramp and facilities were really well maintained and easy to find. Very accessible for those coming from St. Augustine as well as points north, such as Jacksonville.
