First time for us so really don't have any advice other than charter with someone who fishes for a living and knows the spots!

It's all good. Just be ready for a great day of fishing. If it's your first time, the right captain and crew can make all the difference.

Check out this 4 hour morning trip - we caught a lot of fish, got to see some sea lions & some Naval maneuvers, too. Great to get your feet wet.

follow the reviews and trust that you'll be in good hands. This is my 3rd trip, 3 different boats, and all 3 did an excellent job.

The fish are aggressive and are a great fight. Haven’t been on too many other trips similar to this trip but I would fully recommend doing it again. Lots of sun screen

Be patient. It’s called fishing not catching. Later in July and August is better. Bring your passports to go south as this is better earlier in the season.

Lots of action and variety. We got a bite with almost every stop. We caught yellowtail, calico bass, Benito, and barracuda. It was also flat on the water and a beautiful day just to be on the water.

Great place to fish year round and the San Diego bay really goes off in may. The inshore seemed almost ready to go but not quite yet. Im sure it will bust open in June for Yellows.

Talk to the Capitan often and listen closely. He will tell you what fish are active and how to catch them.
