Iโm disappointed that the knit on Redfish has decreased to 1 fish per angler. We caught the limit in less than 90 minutes. The trout were not biting so we fished for 2 1/2 hours with no success, which was disappointing.

Don't be afraid to ask your captain lots of questions -- our captain was very knowledgeable (about the fish, water, equipment, seasons, local area, etc.) and quite friendly. He was eager to teach us about fishing these waters at this season and was also willing to engage in conversation along other lines.

The type of fishing we did was backwater with a depth from 3ft to 20ft. The fishing in the backwater was better than expected. So, yes I would recommend fishing in Jacksonville.
