Black worms andnother dark body baits are your best bet right now. Lots of walleye to be caught if your verticak and on the bottom. The Detroit river is on fire. Keeping the lines verticals and jigs on bottom is key. You gotta be in that mud line to get fish. Canadian licenses are a must for quick limits of fish. Hard to say what baits to use because it changes everyday. Pimp daddy worm, bubble gum fin s minnow, atomic orange has been hot with some variation everyday. We have availabilty the rest of the month in out brand new Hewescraft. We will be on the Detroit til May 11 and then St Clair river and Lake St Clair til mid June. The crawler bite was on fire mid day today. Blades with anti freeze and pink were getting Hit. A blie silver blade started catching fish at the end. Took a little bit to find the pod but once we did it was game on. Good Luck

Fishing is getting better with the dirty water. Pimp daddy and Firetiger Fin S Minnows remain good. Minnows are no longer needed. As the water warms the fishing should continue to be excellent.

Finally, with the warm weather brings warm water. That means the walleye are starting to put on the feed bag on and fishing is improving everyday. The water has been extremely cold as well as cold fronts blowing through. Minnows and baits tipped with minnows has been key. As water wrms we should be able to put the minnows a way. We have been fishing the Detroit river and St Clair river. We will continue on the Detroit until slows down. The. We will be fishing Lake St Clair and the St Clair river. Right now we are jigging.
