Fresh Sunset Harbor Fishing Reports

The fishing has been just terrific with alot of huge Smallmouth Bass. Even the kids are getting in on the action.

Well to say that there a few walleye around would be an understatement. Today we boated over 70 Walleye and had just as many on that got away. This year has really been one of the best I have ever seen. This particular day we drifted Crawler harnesses while the clients held the poles waiting for a bite.

The walleye saga continues. Not much to say besides fish after fish. Double after double. No matter if your jigging or drifting harnesses your going to catch a ton of fish!!

The majority of our morning was spent working many different areas trying to locate some big fish. Our technique was using a 1/32 ounce jighead 2 feet underneath a slip float tipped with an emerald shinner. There where several keys to our success today. First was not staying at a spot longer than 2 minutes if there's was no bite. Second was making sure there was a very lively minnow on the hook. Third was location and timing. We didn't catch a ton of fish like we normally do but the ones we did get where defiantly quality.
