Wear fishing overalls and snow boots. Hooks are tricky so bring gloves/first aid kit. The fish/bait remnants flew everywhere. In preparation, avoid eating fried, heavy foods, alcohol. Sleep early the day before.

For your first time if youโre fishing on a boat be prepared for seasickness it can happen to anybody and he will not enjoy it. Mastic itโs a beautiful place especially in August but it is not for everybody fishing is work especially if youโre in the heat on a boat so you have to like fishing in order to enjoy it. We loved it

Look for your old school captains with good reviews and a good captain will tell you if itโs worth coming out or not most old school guys were always put you want fish just listen to the meat in the captain and youโll have the best trip ever
