What a great trip with fantastic people! We met Penn and his family early and set out for some catfish. Wow boy did we get them. Great catch of catfish and a extra rockfish as well. All Penn wanted was that card and im happy we could deliver. Awesome fishing! Thanks for the trip Capt. Roger

We started slow but we finished the day fast and furious!! Family birthday fun!! Even had a surprise guest show up. But he was under the size limit. So Mr Cobia couldn't stay...

If the wind is blowing out of the N or NE there will be parts of the main bay that cannot be fished. We were hoping to fish for bull redfish but wind did not allow that to happen. We had fun catching rockfish instead.

Solomons was a lovely place to visit — easy to navigate, not crowded, and full of genuinely friendly people. There was a nice variety of restaurants, and all the fishing boats seemed to be catching fish. A relaxing and enjoyable spot for a day trip or weekend getaway.

Book with Captain Derek at Finnand Feather! He had us on great spots right away- even with recent stormy weather. The boat is very clean, well maintained, and has all the right amenities for a small group. I couldn’t have asked for more from his hospitality - an absolute miracle that he had availability for my last minute plans.
