Trip Summary

Blackmouth (Resident Chinook Salmon) in Puget Sound started off with a bang! Some beautiful fish for all. This fishery is open in April only on Wednesdays through Saturdays and is closely monitored with a strict quota. Were hoping for at least one more week of fishing if we have quota left. They cut beautifully red and are some of the best table fair as far chinook go (my favorite eaters!)

These guys couldnt have asked for better weather and seas, and the fish certainly wanted to play in the sun as well! A fun day for these contractors who got to sneek away from the jobsite and join me on mine! We adventured out on the beautiful Puget Sound waters, where we fished for bait in the morning and then went out to find our limits of lingcod, and were rewarded!
