Fresh Everett Fishing Reports

Fishing coho in 8-2, 9 and area 10

The pinks are in full swing now with amazing action on light tackle.

Casting or trolling for the pink salmon are a blast and abundant. Great time to get the family or kids out for fast action.

Picked up two clients at 7:45am Friday, May 9, 2025 at Edmonds Marina (fuel dock). Weather was stellar as you can see in the pics. We went about a mile out where we caught sand dabs for bait, then made the 20 minute trek to Possession Bar at the south end of Whidbey Island. Seas were calm, winds were light, sun was bright. Dropped our lines at 9am, As we waited for the slack tide we watched a pod of whales cruise by, blowing water spouts, breaching and many tail slaps. We had our 3 fish limit in the boat by 10:30am and cruised back to Edmonds, off the water with lingcod filets by 11:30am. Lots of fish available, book now before the short lingcod season ends on June 15th.

These guys couldnt have asked for better weather and seas, and the fish certainly wanted to play in the sun as well! A fun day for these contractors who got to sneek away from the jobsite and join me on mine! We adventured out on the beautiful Puget Sound waters, where we fished for bait in the morning and then went out to find our limits of lingcod, and were rewarded!

The puget sound coho has been some of the best i have seen. Time to get in on some of the fast action.
