Killer snapper! Cooler of swimming tacos

Great trip out nearshore today. Had a great snapper bite most of the day. Loaded up with some mangroves before switching gears to get a few trout. Saw a good assortment of species including gag grouper, mangrove snapper, key West grunts, Spanish mackeral, sea trout, lady fish, puffer fish, ramora, wrasse, jack crevelle, and black sea bass.

Today the bite was non-stop! Couldn't ask for better weather. The water is warming up a hair and the mackeral and mangrove snapper were fired up before the front. Freelining live shrimp proved to be the best method while bottom fishing proved to be effective for grunts and sheepshead. Had a great time with Julie and her family for her birthday. Lots of laughs, lots of fun, and buckets of fish to take home!

Had a great trip out with Todd and his crew. Caught a bunch of different species including some Cobia and a bucket full of mangrove snappers for dinner. Don't forget flatty the flounder!
